Ashley Howard

Ashley Howard joined United Capital Management of Kansas in December 2016 as the Director of Marketing. She leads all advertising initiatives, social media strategy, and event planning efforts across the firm. With a heart for hospitality and a gift for creating meaningful experiences, Ashley brings energy, creativity, and connection to everything she does.

Born and raised in Mission, Kansas, Ashley graduated from Bishop Miege High School in 2007 and went on to attend Newman University in Wichita, where she continued her volleyball career as an NCAA student-athlete. She graduated cum laude in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Counseling, focusing on children and adolescence. Her professional journey began with an opportunity to serve as a constituent services representative for the U.S. House of Representatives in the Big First District of Kansas. There, she advocated for families navigating international adoption and worked as a liaison with various federal agencies.

Ashley’s passion for serving others extends beyond her professional work. She is the heart behind The Howard Table—rooted in the belief that there’s power in gathering around the table with intention, grace, and good food. She regularly volunteers and plays an active role in her children’s Catholic school community, finding joy in giving back and building strong relationships.

Ashley and her husband, Jim Howard, are raising their three children—Nora, Wyatt, and Nash—and staying busy with school events, sports, and all the joyful chaos that comes with family life.
